From September 2023, Albana Koçiu holds the post of Minister of Health and Social Protection. Before this task, Mrs. Albana Koçiu has held the position of Director of the Department of Public Administration since 2013.

Ms. Koçiu has completed his studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, at the University of Tirana with over 20 years of experience in management, in leadership positions in the central and local administration, with a special focus in the field of human resources management, as well as social services. , where he has a rich experience and outstanding contribution.

At the same time, Mrs. Koçiu has followed a series of professional qualifications on leadership in public administration, good governance, human resource management policies and social policies.

Earlier, as Director of the Department of Public Administration, Mrs. Koçiu has presided over the Public Administration Reform process at the technical level, as one of the country’s priorities towards the integration of Albania into the European Union.
